Media Guidelines

We are passionate about presenting your miniature cattle in a way that doesn't just attract buyers - it attracts the right buyers. We know that capturing attention requires showcasing your miniature cattle in the most polished and appealing way possible. With this understanding, we've established clear and practical guidelines for all media submissions, ensuring that your listings stand out!

Photo Guidelines

  1. Professional Quality
Professionally taken, edited, and produced photos are highly encouraged. If not professionally taken, raw, unedited photos are preferred.
  2. Resolution
Photos must have a high enough resolution to ensure they are not pixelated when expanded to fit within a 1080px frame.
  3. Clean Environment
The background must be clean and free of distractions like buckets, feeders, trailers, stalls, trash, manure, or other clutter.
  4. Animal Presentation
    • Cattle must be clean, dry, and well-groomed, without decorative items like flowers, bows, or bands.
    • Animals should be properly posed, showing side profile, 3/4 profile, back views, and feet. Ensure all four feet are visible and positioned naturally.
    • The animal should not be eating, tied to posts, or restrained in a way that detracts from the image.
  5. Halter and Equipment
Use a properly fitting halter that does not distract from the animal. Avoid bright or patterned halters.
  6. Full Visibility
The entire animal must fit within the frame, with clear visibility of the legs. Exceptions apply for photos taken in grass or competition settings.
  7. No Obstructions
Keep the view of the animal clear of lead ropes, handlers, fencing, or other obstructions.
  8. Image Quality
    • Photos must be free of sweat marks unless it's an action shot. Avoid movement like swishing tails or blurred feet.
    • Photos must not include color filters, vignettes, or other edits (e.g., removal of people or background objects).
  9. Watermarks and Text
Watermarks are allowed, but additional text or graphics on photos will not be accepted. Text-heavy designs or advertisements are not permitted.
  10. Additional Suggestions
    • Including photos of the Dam and Sire is encouraged.
    • iPhone photos are accepted if they meet all requirements above.
    • Collages or screenshots of photos will NOT be accepted, as they reduce image quality.
  11. Ownership Rights
You must own the rights to any professionally taken photos. If a third party produced the photos and you do not own the rights, they will not be accepted.
  12. Final Review
All submissions are subject to approval by Elite Miniatures, which reserves the right to determine if photos meet quality standards.

Video Guidelines

  1. Professional Quality
Professionally taken, edited, and produced videos are highly encouraged.
  2. Clear Visibility
The livestock must be clearly visible in the video. Blurry or unclear videos will not be accepted.
  3. Resolution
Cell phone videos are accepted as long as they are high quality and show the livestock clearly.
  4. Ownership Rights
If a third party produces the video, you must own the rights. Videos without proper ownership rights will not be accepted.
  5. No Screen Recordings
Screen-recorded videos or recordings of a separate screen will not be accepted.
  6. Video Length
Videos must not exceed 30 seconds. If longer, Elite Miniatures may edit them to meet this requirement.
  7. Text and Animations
Videos with text or animations may not be accepted, at the discretion of Elite Miniatures.
  8. Compilation Videos
Compilation videos must professionally showcase the livestock. If photos are included, they must meet the photo guidelines. Screenshots, images of results/stats, or flyers are not allowed.
  9. Video Quality Tips
    • Use a high-quality camera or smartphone and avoid excessive zooming.
    • Hold the camera horizontally (landscape orientation) for a polished look.
    • Submit raw, unedited clips without music, text, or graphic overlays.
  10. Final Review
All videos are subject to approval by Elite Miniatures, which reserves the right to determine if they meet quality standards.
